The Frazier Museum Hosts Kentucky Derby Festival Spelling Bee

The Frazier International History Museum is proud to host the Kentucky Derby Festival Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 20, 2010. As the host of this event, we are offering:

  • Free admission for all teachers and their family/guests (ID required)
  • Chance to win a FREE school field trip to the Frazier Museum
    • Field trip includes museum admission and an educational program/historical interpretation of choice for up to 70 students
      • Bus reimbursement of up to $150
      • Offer good through December 31, 2010
      • Parking available in PARC lot directly behind the museum
  • Teacher hospitality table with information about educational programming at the Frazier Museum and Frazier-themed giveaways.
  • Historical Interpretations throughout the day, including:

The Frazier Museum presents guided programs for students in grades K-12 designed to fulfill Core Content Curriculum Standards. Each year, thousands of school children visit the museum for field trips, which include hands-on interactive sessions, gallery investigations and live performances by historical interpreters.
